Foam Latex Prosthetics Workshop with Hollywood SFX Makeup Legend Rob Burman:

“Maske-Wien” and the “Hasso von Hugo School” in Berlin are excited to present the next Hollywood guest in their joint Masterclass series: Rob Burman has worked for over 40 years on major Hollywood productions such as: Batman, Ghostbusters, The Thing, Star Trek, and more. Rob also teaches makeup effects at several renowned makeup artistry schools in Los Angeles. Given the current foam latex revival in the industry, we chose this technique this year. In our 5-day Foam Latex Prosthetic Workshop, positive and negative face casts are made, 1-2 makeup facial pieces are sculpted and cast in foam. Finally, the foam facial pieces are glued onto the face, made up, and photographed.
